I.H.R.B CCTV Installation

I.H.R.B CCTV Installation

The I.H.R.B (Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board) is the regulatory body for all horseracing in Ireland. The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board is a company set up by the Turf Club (established 1790) and the Irish National Hunt Steeplechase Committee (established 1866) to carry out the regulatory and licensing functions for Irish horseracing.

The new body is responsible for protecting the integrity and reputation of Irish horseracing in Ireland. As an All-Ireland body, the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board has continued to develop the professional services provided by these two bodies in the regulation of Irish racing for over 200 years.

As part of this protection, Mongey Communications provided the I.H.R.B with an end-to-end integrated ISS System which included CCTV in stable yards at 25 racecourses throughout Ireland. This ISS System acts as both a safety measure and also deters and detects breaches of the Rules of Racing and malpractice in racing (e.g. doping, mistreatment of horses).

This project undertaken by the Mongey team took 24 months from start to finish. Mongey Communications was proud to work on this project and to provide the I.H.R.B with a complete CCTV System Solution.
