The Horizon Irish Open took place in the K Club this year with Mongey Communications providing a full range of services for the event including full site radio communications, multiple PA systems around the venue as well as supplying mobile LED screens for the event.

Mongey Communications have been involved the Irish Open since 1987 back when it was the Carroll’s Irish Open.This year’s tournament saw the Irish debut of the DP World Tour’s closest to the pin competition which was held on the par three 8^th hole using one of our mobile LED screens.

It was great to see this year’s tournament back in Kildare. Congratulations to the DP World Tour, Horizon, the K Club and everyone involved in putting together such a successful event. Well done to the eventual winner Vincent Norrman who finished the weekend on -14.
