Mongey Communications was first involved with American football in Ireland in 1996 with a game which was also between Notre Dame and Navy. For this year’s event on the 24th August, we reinforced the existing PA system in the Aviva stadium using our wrap-around Nexo PA System. Mongey Communications was also looking after the on-field referee communications system for the match officials.

Mongey Communications was also contracted to provide audio visual and CCTV services for a number of venues around Dublin City Centre throughout the week as part of the build-up to the main event. These events included Pep rallies for both teams as well as a collection of traveling High School teams, The NFL Academy based in London, and the Irish Wolfhounds.

Congratulations to the winners Notre Dame who took home the silver in a comprehensive victory, beating Navy 42-3 in what was a spectacular performance.
