The 30th anniversary of the Farm Tractor & Machinery Trade Association (FTMTA) Show was held at Punchestown in Feb 2019. Mongeys provided a complete event communications solution including Sound, AV Equipment and Walkie-Talkies.

The show is the flagship event for the Irish Farm Machinery Industry and this year’s was the largest show in its history, with over 16,000 square metres of indoor exhibition space across five buildings and over 20,000 visitors in attendance over three days.

According to Gary Ryan, CEO of the FTMTA, there was a high level of good quality enquires and a substantial amount of business generated at this year’s show. He also said that, despite the uncertainty over Brexit, there was a lot of general optimism and that many farming businesses are continuing to invest in mechanisation to make them more efficient.
